The female painting is due to Giuseppe Bonito "Chamber Painter" of King Charles of Bourbon from 1751; in portraiture, Queen Maria Amalia of Saxony, wife of King Charles, is recognizable.
The painting is an important and rare testimony on the Italian territory of the effigy of the queen, who is also represented in her youth, during the early years of her stay at the Neapolitan court.
Therefore and as per written letter, it was considered by the Ministry for cultural heritage and activities of particular interest for the national cultural heritage; given the relevance of the subject, the general high quality of the canvas and also considering its overall good state of conservation.
